Work
Stock Tracking Application
This desktop application was written in C# and utilized the Alpha Vantage API. The user could search up a stock symbol, and values such as open, high, and low, would be displayed in a grid. The user could also run a search and see what symbols matched their query.
DnD Character Generator
This desktop application was written in C# and incorporated several Dungeons & Dragons books and materials. Users could click on a dice icon to randomly generate a character, which would generate their stats, abilities, equipment, skills, and even backstory.
Events API
An API written in C# using ASP.NET. It records an event's location and type, which it receives from an IOT device, in a database. It can also list all events in the database as well as the attributes for a given specific event.
Meal Wheel
This website was written with plain HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. It seeks to answer a burning question: What should we have for lunch / dinner? Users can enter up to 8 restaurants or places for consideration and can spin a wheel to determine the answer.
Gender Diary
This website was written with plain HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. It functions as a tool that allows its users to denote their gender identity in terms of how masculine, feminine, and non-binary they feel at a given time. This combination is represented as an RGB value, where R represents feminine, G represents non-binary, and B represents masculine. Every gender they've logged is viewable on the site, much like a diary. I created this site to help my friend track how they were feeling about gender, but I hope it helps others as well.
Undergraduate Thesis
I wrote my undergraduate thesis about gender identity and how it is expressed linguistically. In particular, it examined the linguistic habits of a group called 'demigirls' and explored how they used pronouns and adjectives to reinforce their identities.
